After graduating and returning from an incredible summer in D.C., I knew I wanted to continue writing, staying up-to-speed on current events, and developing my understanding of my passions: libertarian and Christian thought. The purpose of this blog is to give me a forum to share my explorations into all of these areas and hopefully generate some good discussion from anyone who might be interested in reading this.
Based on my studies into economics, political science, a bit of psychology and biology, and other areas, I find that political and economic liberty makes societies materially prosperous. I also find the teachings of Christianity true, particularly when discussing the human condition and our responsibility towards others.
If both of these worldviews are true, then the law of non-contradiction states that somehow they fit together in reality.
All of my writings will be to explore this relationship, and comment on current events from this perspective. On top of my thoughts on current events, I intend on mixing in book reviews every couple of weeks.
I'll try to make my first few posts to lay down some of my assumptions and beliefs. Hope you enjoy!
